Return & Refund Policy

 

Thank you for shopping with us! We want you to be happy with your purchase. Please read our return and refund policy carefully before placing your order.

 

 

1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Clothing & apparel: Unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags attached

  • Vinyl records: Unopened and in original, undamaged packaging

  • All items: Must be free from signs of use, damage, or alterations

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened vinyl records (due to hygiene and quality reasons)

  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Limited Edition"

  • Digital downloads or gift cards

 

 

2. Damaged or Defective Items

If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at denes at upmusicbudapest dot hu with:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photos of the damaged/defective item and packaging

We will offer a full refund, replacement, or store credit at no extra cost to you.

 

 

3. How to Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at denes at upmusicbudapest dot com with your order number and reason for return

  2. Wait for our confirmation and return instructions (we aim to respond within 2 business days)

  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging if possible

  4. Ship it to the address provided in our confirmation email
    ⚠️ Do not send items back without prior authorization — unauthorized returns may not be processed.

 

 

4. Return Shipping Costs

  • Defective or incorrect items: We cover the return shipping cost

  • Change of mind returns: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs

  • We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit

 

 

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email. If approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5 business days

  • The refund will be issued to your original payment method

  • Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to post the refund

 

 

6. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or color, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.

 

 

7. EU Customers — Right of Withdrawal

If you are based in the European Union, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason, in accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive. You then have a further 14 days to return the item. A full refund including standard delivery costs will be issued within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.

Note: The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods (such as vinyl records) that have been unsealed after delivery.
